Relationships with Families and Communities

At Freckles we have an "open door" policy. Freckles prides itself on having the most up to date and relevant means of communication with our families. The most important means of communication with our families is face to face communication. You will always be welcomed when you arrive to Freckles with a warm and enthusiastic greeting and at the end of your child's day your child's educator will give you a thorough overview of your child's day with us at Freckles. We encourage regular and thorough discussion between parents and carers. We love to hear about what your child tells you that they enjoy at Freckles or the stories they tell you about their day at home. Our team appreciate and enjoy discussing individual children with their parents and will always make the time and effort to do so.

At Freckles we are always thinking about what more we can do more to help our busy families. We have in place electronic communication, which includes regular email updates and a specialised Child Carers software system, which can be downloaded to your smart phone, tablet, work or home computer. All parents and carers will receive regular individual updates on their child every day that they attend Freckles as well as updates on and all other important centre information.

At all times, we welcome parent involvement as a natural extension of the home environment.

Freckles Environment

Freckles Loftus and Sutherland were established in January 2015 and are architecturally designed, modern, environmentally friendly early childhood education and care centres. The environment at Freckles has been specifically designed to ensure that it is safe and suitable for the children and provides a rich and diverse range of experiences that promote children's learning and development. We have an open-plan and spacious floor plan at Freckles which enables the children to interact, play and learn. All resources and equipment are made available and accessible to children and are rotated on a systematic basis to ensure the children are gaining new experiences and making new discoveries each and every day.

All areas have been thoughtfully designed to promote safety, consistency and security.
